  There was an issue with Rentalcars.com communicating with Green Motion which mean that my booking hadn't been made, even though they had taken my money. Still no-one has taken responsibility on this. Despite that, I was able to make a booking direct with GM, however having lost my credit card, I was unable to proceed with the pre-authorisation of £1500, therefore they said the only possible way was to take £800 from my debit card but only if I paid for the extra (lower) excess, so I still don't understand why they couldn't take a pre-auth for the higher excess if the balance was available? Seems like a con to me to justify their upsell. Having said that the chap Shahin was pleasant and friendly. Even after a string of other unhappy customers arrived at the counter, he maintained professional.

  Very smooth experience with Green Motion Birmingham Interantional The process was smooth and hassle-free, and the car was in very good condition. Special thanks to my friend Adil, who was incredibly helpful throughout, really appreciated the support. Would definitely use them again.

  Just about the worst car rental company I have come across. I traveled ninety minutes to get there only to be told that the car rental would now be costing me more than 3 times the original amount. And then I was told because points on my license they couldn’t rent it to me anyway. Got my refund and went to enterprise and had no problem. The funny thing is , they were arguing on the phone with someone who it seems they had tried to rip off too. They may seem cheap at first but are a rip off and make the terms and conditions up as they go along I think.

  Rented twice from here due to having issues with my own car. Both vehicles were clean and tidy. Shahinul was particularly helpful when inspecting the vehicle on return and sorting out a second rental (in my case it was cheaper to do 2 shorter rentals than one longer one), professional and friendly to deal with & advised me to take good photos of the car on pickup. Useful advice as previous branch had not properly logged an item, but was easy to prove by having photographic evidence. Location gives good access via taxi, bus or train. Short distance from airport but cheaper than the ones at the terminal.

  We hired a car from Green Motion at Birmingham Airport and returned it full of fuel in perfect condition. Upon inspection the staff member pointed out a tiny mark on the front windscreen. It is so tiny you will struggle to see it. They said 3mm, more like 1-2 mms. I travel to Birmingham regularly and have always used Avis car hire and never had one problem. This time EasyJet booked me with Green Motion and I am sorry to say that I am very disappointed and will not return to Green Motion. I have also let EasyJet know about this. We were told to take pictures of the car but were not told about the windscreen. Why did your staff not inspect the car beforehand instead of asking us to do it? Honestly feels like a scam. Maybe the mark was already on the car when we collected it? We are now being charged £75 plus £35 administration fee. They also were very pushy trying to get us to purchase extra insurance when we. Far too far away from the airport. You have to walk a long distance on a dangerous road or else get a train. Not convenient at all. Avis is so handy….1 minute walk from airport doors and a much more professional and superior company. Don’t book here, book Avis. They even upgraded us for free!
